Privacy Policy

Who This Policy Covers

YesReels serves three types of users:

• Companies — businesses that order custom reels from creators
• Creators — individuals who apply to produce reels and receive assigned orders
• Guests — users who checkout without creating a company account (order access via email link)

Administrators are internal Wiser5 accounts and are subject to the same data handling described here.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use YesReels, we may collect:

Account and profile information

• Company accounts: company name, contact name, email address, optional website URL, password (stored as a one-way hash — we never store plain-text passwords)
• Creator accounts: first name, last name, email address, password (hashed), profile photo, bio, specialty, website URL, Instagram URL, TikTok URL, approval status, and onboarding progress
• All accounts: role (company, creator, or admin), account creation date, and password-reset tokens when you request a reset

Order and project information

• Brand name, product or service description, creative brief fields (message, call-to-action, target audience)
• Reel length (15, 30, or 60 seconds), selected creator, order status, and price paid
• Optional reference video links you provide
• Guest checkout email and company contact details even when no account is created
• Revision request notes submitted after delivery
• Star ratings and written reviews submitted by companies after order completion

Files you upload

• Brand assets (companies): logos and product images (JPEG, PNG, WebP, or GIF) uploaded after payment
• Sample reels (creators): portfolio videos shown on your public profile
• Deliverables (creators): finished reel videos uploaded for a specific order
• Profile photos (creators): headshot or brand image displayed on your creator profile

Files are stored in private cloud storage (AWS S3). Access to download links is time-limited via signed URLs. We validate file types using content inspection, not just file extensions.

Payment information

Payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment, transaction identifiers, and order metadata from Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers, CVV codes, or bank account details on our servers.

Communications

We send transactional email (order confirmations, asset upload reminders, delivery notifications, creator approval decisions, password resets) via MailerSend. We retain the email address and content necessary to deliver these messages.

Technical and security data

• IP address, browser type, and standard server access logs
• Authentication cookies (JWT session) to keep you logged in
• Google Analytics events (prefixed yesreels_) to understand how the product is used
• Admin audit log entries when administrators approve creators or change order status (actor, action, timestamp, IP where available)
• Rate-limiting and abuse-prevention signals tied to your session or IP

How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and authenticate you
• To process orders, assign work to creators, and track order status from payment through delivery
• To store and deliver uploaded brand assets and finished reels to the appropriate parties
• To display approved creator public profiles (photo, links, sample reels, ratings, and reviews) to prospective company customers
• To process payments and link orders to company accounts when you sign up or log in with the same email
• To send transactional email about your order or account
• To review creator applications, enforce onboarding requirements, and approve or reject creators
• To display company reviews on creator profiles after orders are completed
• To investigate abuse, enforce our Terms, and protect the security of the platform
• To analyze aggregate usage patterns and improve YesReels

What Is Public vs. Private

• Public (approved creators only): creator name, profile photo, specialty, bio, social links, sample reels, average rating, review count, completed reel count, and published company reviews
• Private: passwords, admin notes, Stripe payment details, brand assets until shared with the assigned creator, deliverables until shared with the ordering company, and internal audit logs
• Shared within an order: once paid, brand assets are visible to the assigned creator; deliverables are visible to the ordering company (and guest portal link holders)

Third-Party Services

We use trusted providers to operate YesReels:

• Stripe — payment processing (Stripe Privacy Policy)
• MailerSend — transactional email delivery
• Amazon Web Services (S3) — private file storage for uploads and deliverables
• Google Analytics — usage metrics on pages and in the app
• Hosting provider — application and database hosting for wiser5.com

Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy. We share only what is necessary for them to perform their function (for example, your email with MailerSend, your card details with Stripe, your files with S3).

Data Retention

• Account data is kept while your account is active and as needed afterward for legal, tax, and dispute resolution purposes
• Order records, uploads, and deliverables are retained to fulfill the service, support refunds or disputes, and maintain business records
• Reviews remain associated with creator profiles unless removed for policy violations
• Server logs and audit entries are kept for a limited period for security and compliance
• We may anonymize or delete stale data that is no longer needed

Sharing and Sale of Data

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers listed above, between parties involved in an order (company ↔ creator as described), when required by law or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Wiser5 LLC, our users, and the public.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

YesReels uses essential cookies for login sessions. Google Analytics may set additional cookies or use similar technologies to measure traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent you from staying logged in.

Security

We use HTTPS, bcrypt password hashing, role-based access controls, upload file-type validation (magic-byte checks for images and videos), URL validation on profile links, rate limiting on sensitive endpoints, and optional IP allowlisting for admin routes. Private files are not served without authenticated access or a time-limited signed URL.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for not sharing order portal links with unauthorized parties.

Your Choices and Rights

• You may update creator profile fields or company account details from your dashboard
• Creators may delete sample reels they uploaded from the sample reels or profile pages
• You may request a password reset at any time
• Contact us to ask what personal data we hold about you or to request correction of inaccurate account information
• Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights (access, deletion, portability). Contact us and we will respond as required by applicable law

To close an account or request deletion of personal data, email hello@wiser5.com. Some information may be retained where we have a legal obligation or legitimate business need (for example, completed order records).

Children’s Privacy

YesReels is a business service and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

International Users

YesReels is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the U.S., your information may be processed and stored in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate. By using YesReels, you consent to this transfer.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
