This Privacy Policy explains how Wiser5 LLC (“Wiser5,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use Wiser5 Courses at wiser5.com/courses (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

We collect information in the following categories:

• Purchase information. When you buy a course, we collect the email address you provide at checkout, the course purchased, price, purchase timestamp, and payment status.
• Access information. We create a unique access token tied to your purchase so you can open your course without creating an account. We may log when that access link is used (for example, approximate time and technical success/failure of video delivery).
• Reviews. If you submit a rating or written review, we store that content with your purchase record.
• Technical and usage data. Like most websites, our servers and analytics tools may collect IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, and similar diagnostics. We use tools such as Google Analytics to understand product usage.
• Communications. If you email us, we keep the content of that correspondence so we can respond and improve the Service.

3. Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe and/or PayPal. Those providers collect and process payment details (such as card numbers or PayPal account information) under their own privacy policies. We do not store full payment card numbers on Wiser5 servers. We may receive limited payment metadata needed to confirm a transaction (for example, payment intent IDs, capture IDs, and payment status).

4. How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Fulfill purchases and email your private course access link
• Provide ongoing access to course videos and materials you bought
• Send transactional messages related to your purchase (receipts, access reminders, support)
• Display ratings/reviews where applicable
• Operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service
• Detect abuse (including unauthorized sharing of access links) and enforce our Terms
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your purchase email for unrelated marketing lists without a clear opt-in.

5. Access links are sensitive

Your course access URL is unique to your purchase. Treat it like a password. Anyone with the link can watch the course. If you believe your link was exposed, contact hello@wiser5.com promptly so we can help revoke or reissue access where appropriate.

6. How we share information

We may share information with:

• Service providers that help us run the Service (hosting, email delivery such as SendGrid, payment processors, analytics, and error monitoring), under agreements that limit use of your data to providing services to us
• Professional advisors (legal, accounting) when reasonably necessary
• Authorities when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and security
• Business transfers if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, in which case your information may transfer as part of that transaction

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We may use cookies or similar technologies for essential site functions (for example, admin session cookies) and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect parts of the Service.

8. Data retention

We retain purchase, access, and review records for as long as needed to provide ongoing course access, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Technical logs are typically retained for a shorter operational period unless needed for security investigation.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information (including HTTPS and access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your access link confidential.

10. International users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from another country, your information may be processed in the U.S. and other locations where our providers operate.

11. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of certain personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email hello@wiser5.com. We may need to verify your identity (for example, by confirming control of the purchase email) before fulfilling a request. Some information may be retained where required for legitimate business or legal reasons.
