This Privacy Policy describes how Wiser5 LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use FeelMeTV at wiser5.com/feeltv and related pages, APIs, and tools (collectively, the “Service”). By using FeelMeTV, you agree to this Policy.

1. Who We Are

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide

  • Quiz preferences — desired moods, stress/darkness/intensity limits, humor preference, genres, and content to avoid
  • Feedback — thumbs-up or thumbs-down on recommendations, optionally stored with the quiz preferences that produced them
  • Messages — if you email us, we receive the content of your message and your email address

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Session identifier — a random ID stored in your browser (local storage) so we can associate feedback and product events without an account
  • Usage events — product analytics such as quiz started/completed, recommendations viewed, recommendation clicked, liked/disliked, more-like-this, and quiz restarted
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, timestamps, and similar logs used for security, debugging, and service operation
  • Cookies and similar technologies — including analytics cookies if enabled on wiser5.com (for example Google Analytics)

2.3 Information we do not require

FeelMeTV’s MVP does not require user accounts, passwords, payment cards, or government IDs. Do not submit sensitive personal data through quiz fields.

3. How We Use Information

  • To generate TV show recommendations based on your mood preferences
  • To exclude shows matching content you asked to avoid
  • To improve recommendation quality using aggregate feedback
  • To operate, secure, and debug the Service
  • To understand product usage (for example which quiz steps are completed)
  • To respond to support requests
  • To comply with law and enforce our Terms

4. TV Show Metadata and AI Classification

Show titles, descriptions, posters, genres, air dates, ratings, and related metadata may be sourced from third parties such as The Movie Database (TMDB). Emotional scores, mood tags, and content warnings may be generated using machine-learning models (for example OpenAI) offline as part of our catalog pipeline, then stored in our database. We do not send your quiz answers to an LLM for each recommendation request in the MVP; matching is performed deterministically against stored profiles.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers — hosting, databases, analytics, email, and error monitoring vendors who process data on our behalf
  • AI and data providers — for catalog classification and metadata refresh (not for selling your identity)
  • Legal and safety — when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of the Service
  • Business transfers — if Wiser5 LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale

6. Cookies, Local Storage, and Analytics

We use browser local storage for a random session ID and to remember your latest quiz preferences on your device. We may use Google Analytics, PostHog, or similar tools to understand aggregate traffic and feature usage. You can clear site data in your browser settings. Where required by law, we will present cookie consent mechanisms.

7. Data Retention

Quiz-related analytics and feedback are retained only as long as useful for operating and improving FeelMeTV, unless a longer period is required for security or legal reasons. You may request deletion of identifiable feedback associated with a session ID by emailing hello@wiser5.com and providing the session ID from your browser storage.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of an account-free MVP, including HTTPS in production and access controls for admin tools. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Children’s Privacy

FeelMeTV is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact hello@wiser5.com.

10. International Users

FeelMeTV may be hosted in the United States or other countries. If you access the Service from elsewhere, you understand that information may be processed in jurisdictions with different data-protection laws.

11. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise a request, email hello@wiser5.com. You may also clear local storage and cookies in your browser.

12. Third-Party Links

Recommendations may link to posters hosted by TMDB or to third-party sites. Those services have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date. Continued use of FeelMeTV after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
